I leave art speak through me
I started painting right after I turned 30 years old as I was craving for more creativity in my life and found one of my curiosities in abstract paintings. In my school, art was not a ‘core’ subject, so I started like a total newbie and was impressed by my first experiments. I then kept on experimenting for 2-3 years until I got attracted to metallic colors and to building up texture from paper.
I very rarely have a plan when I start the process. I like to wonder and allow my instinct to guide me until I see a narrative and then I build up on that. Some paintings look great as decoration, some feel energising and others look dark and brutal. I try to name them through my understanding, but I’ve discovered that our imagination is very distinctive. Each person gets drawn into their own imagination and creates their own story.
Therefore, I invite you to engage your imagination and draw yourself into the story.
